Prior to installing an EV charger it is paramount that you inform the DNO (Distribution network operator) prior to installation. This is to ensure that the grid network can support the demand of multiple EV chargers in your area. NEE will take care of this for you and ensure that all the relevant protocols have been followed.

When installing an EV charger, there are some strict rules and regulations to adhere to, in most cases we will install a separate consumer unit (fuse board) that will have a dedicated supply to the EV charger. This ensures that we do not interfere with the existing electrical system in your property. This is more common in older properties where there might not necessarily be an 18th Edition consumer unit in the property to take the supply from.

Upon completion, you will be presented with certification/documentation of the installation, on top of that, all of our work comes with a 10 year craftmanship guarantee. We support the manufacturers guarantee on any hardware that we supply and install. However, if the EV charger has been provided by the customer, whilst we will help you should any problems arise, unfortunately we do not support the guarantee if the EV charger has been provided by you or a third party.
